Day 1: Flying from Kathmandu to Lukla, then a hike  to Phakding
The trek starts with an exciting flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. This flight is an adventure in itself, with spectacular views of the Himalayas and an approach to one of the most challenging airports in the world. From Lukla, we start the 8km hike to Phakding, a small village located on the banks of the Dudh Koshi River. It's a relatively easy walk, and it sets the mood for the adventure you're about to embark upon.

Day 2-4: Phakding to Namche with a day to acclimatize
After breakfast, it's time to head to Namche Bazaar, which is situated at an altitude of 3,440 meters. It's a challenging journey, but it is worthwhile as you are rewarded with views of the magnificent Mount Everest, Ama Dablam and Lhotse. Namche Bazaar is the gateway to the Khumbu region, and it's a bustling town with trekking shops, restaurants and bakeries. It's an excellent place to acclimatize with a day hikes up to the nearby Khumjung or Thame villages.

Day 4: Namche to Phortse Village
The trek from Namche Bazaar to Phortse Tenga is an exciting journey, as you pass through terraced fields, dense forests and suspension bridges. After crossing the Dudh Koshi River twice, you ascend to Phortse Tenga, another beautiful village where we will stay overnight.

Day 5-6: Phortse to Dingboche with a day to acclimatize
From Phortse, we head to Dingboche, a village situated at an altitude of 4,350 meters. This part of the trek is very challenging, as the altitude can make you feel breathless and fatigued. Hence, we will take a rest day in Dingboche for acclimatization. You can explore the village and take short hikes to nearby peaks or the picturesque Imja Valley.

Day 7: Dingboche to Lobuche
The trek from Dingboche to Lobuche is a steady climb as we pass through some of the most spectacular landscapes. Trekkers can enjoy views of Himalayan giants including, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Kangtega and Lhotse. As we make the ascent towards Lobuche, the landscape becomes barren, and the temperature drops significantly.

Day 8: Trek to Gorak Shep and onto the Base Camp
The much-anticipated day has arrived. We start early and head to Gorak Shep, located at an altitude of 5,170 meters above sea level. After lunch, we continue the trek to the Everest Base Camp, where we will spend some time taking pictures and soaking in the magnificent views of the Khumbu Icefall and the surrounding peaks. After a day's exploration, we head back to Gorak Shep for a well-deserved rest.

Day 9: Early morning Climb to Kalapathar, then down to Pheriche
On day 9, we rise early and head to Kalapathar, which is situated at an altitude of 5,545 meters. The sunrise views of Mount Everest, Nuptse, Pumo Ri and other nearby peaks are breathtaking. After some time here, we will head back to Pheriche, where we will spend the night.

Day 10: Hike back to Namche via Tyangbuche Monastery
From Pheriche, we head back to Namche Bazaar via the Tyangboche Monastery, the largest and most important monastery in Khumbu. It takes about 6 hours of trekking to reach Namche from Pheriche. We will spend the night at Namche Bazaar.


Day 11: Namche to Lukla
The trek ends where it started at Lukla. After breakfast, we will head back to Lukla, where we bid farewell to the trekking crew, and make our way to Kathmandu by a scenic flight.
